Bio

Joshua Crockett
b. Fort Worth, Texas, 1999

Joshua Crockett graduated with his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art and a minor in curatorial studies from The University of Texas at Tyler in 2021. Crockett works in multiple mediums, creating pieces that explore function and purpose in a lighthearted manner by juxtaposing concepts of work and play. He recently led a woodworking workshop at Nasher Sculpture Center as a part of the 2023 Museum Forum for Teachers event. Crockett has participated in various juried and invitational exhibitions in Texas, most recently the 30th Annual New Texas Talent exhibition at Craighead Green Gallery.
